Meet Dr. Julie Chan, ND, R.Ac.
Dr. Julie S.M. Chan, ND, R.Ac. is a plant-based, board certified Naturopathic Doctor, Registered Acupuncturist, Intravenous Parenteral Therapist, and NES Practitioner. She offers comprehensive and compassionate healthcare to patients of all ages with a focus in neuro-behavioural and developmental disorders, mental health, neurological issues, autoimmune conditions, digestive and allergy disorders, environmental medicine, children’s health, weight management, dietary and lifestyle improvement and plant-based nutrition in pregnancy and pediatrics. She utilizes many modalities including traditional Chinese acupuncture and cupping, homeopathic medicine, botanical medicine, holistic counselling, plant-based and holistic nutrition, lifestyle medicine, biomedical therapy, homotoxicology and biotherapeutic drainage, bio-Identical hormone therapy, NES Therapy, Intravenous parenteral therapy, vitamin Injections, and comprehensive laboratory testing.
Dr. Julie is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a Bachelors of Science in Human Biology, and then received her Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine from The Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine. She is a member of the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario and is the director of Liberty Wellness Clinic in Downtown Markham. She is also a member of the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors. Dr. Julie is a frequent guest speaker and lecturer and has presented at AD(H)D Symposium, Native Child and Family Services of Toronto, Women’s Travel Network, International Educated Professionals Conference, Toronto Chinese Radio, Wylde on Health on CP24, WOWTV, Mind Matters on Roger’s TV, Toronto VegFest, The LiVegan Podcast, The Canadian Plant-Based Conference, and is also a continuing education instructor at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine on plant-based nutrition.
